TRAINEE SALES & LOGISITICS SUPPORT ADMINISTRATOR

We’re looking for a motivated and organised Trainee Sales & Logistics Support Administrator to join our team at Three Rivers Machinery Dubbo branch. This full-time role is perfect for someone who is looking for an entry-level position that enjoys variety and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll be a key part of our sales operations, coordinating the movement and delivery of new and used equipment, learning essential administration, and helping ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING…. As a trainee, you’ll work alongside experienced team members and learn how to :

  • Coordinate equipment movements between branches, suppliers and customer locations

  • Liaise with transport providers to organise deliveries and collections and assist with resolving transport issues

  • Maintain accurate records of equipment movements and status updates using Trello and our CRM system

  • Assist with whole goods orders by placing, tracking and following up with suppliers

  • Support the management of used equipment by coordinating repairs, preparing units for sale, and working closely with the service, sales and marketing teams

  • Help organise equipment for field days, customer events and promotional displays

  • Prepare equipment for transport or customer inspections, ensuring it is clean and professionally presented

  • Provide friendly and professional customer service by responding to enquiries and directing customers to the appropriate team member

  • Assist the sales team with quotations, paperwork and general administrative tasks

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar support role, preferably within a sales or logistics environment

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and priorities effectively

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal

  • Proficiency in using office software, such as Microsoft Office

  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) systems and inventory management processes

  • A commitment to delivering high-quality work and contributing to the overall success of the team
